Weather Report..................

Whilst here in East Sussex we've ongoing sleety showers and the temperatures remaining a couple of degrees above freezing.

They've issued a yellow warning for snow  which made me laugh.

We are worried about you all.

Record breaking 5 degrees, outside, but looks gorgeous , through the double glazed windows. 14 max expected.

We're having a boozy, ( indoors ), lunch to say adiós to friends who return to N Wales, after their 90 day's.. 3 Months in Aberystwyth..!
None of us envy them.

Slightly calmer in Aberdeenshire now but bitter old and snowing. Couldn’t believe the number of trees down and farm outhouse roofs missing when we popped out for fuel for the gennie at lunchtime. Power cut started yesterday afternoon at 3 and SSE now saying not back on before tomorrow at the earliest.

6 degrees at dawn .. Until 10.30.
Wind dropped and it's a pleasant 16 degrees, sheltered from the northerlies.
We'll be Ok til sundown.

That's the Olive crop done. They already taste delicious. . Enough for 4 years at our rate of consumption... A years supply costs about 4 Euros in the shops. .There's about 16 hours of our labour, there..... Plus the cost of a kilo of salt and a ½ litre of red wine vinegar.
But they're ours.
