Is an occasional light shower really a normally heavy shower that undertakes binge diets before the 'occasion' [holidays?], or am I overthinking this issue?
Our 'persistent rain' forecast appears to be wrong. The rain has ceased, for the moment, and there is even a hint of sun ... Perhaps the rain has a football match to attend and wants to nip off early without people noticing ...

At least it's replacing what we use.

7 degrees but the early sun has disappeared. Temperature will fall slightly to 6 degrees during the day and there is rain forecast for 6 hours this evening. Enya could have been thinking wistfully about Scotland when she wrote 'A Day Without Rain' ...

Thanks for that Tony, sad indeed. We spent the first night of our honeymoon at the Ramsey Arms, sorry to see in the article that it has closed recently too.
