Shock...!
The weather forecast was right, ( almost).
They forecast 3 hours of light rain, starting at the usual time of 3am.
We've had nothing substantial, since Xmas.
They got the day right , but the drizzle arrived at 10 am.
Most unusual for me to have to go out in daylight hours to connect up our water cisterns.
The drizzle was too feeble to wash the accumulated muck off the roof, it was 30 minutes before the flow was running clear enough to use.
15 minutes of powerful rain, put a week's water into the tanks.
Then it stopped and the sun broke through.
My raincoat and cap have stored nearly as much water.
We could see the oranges swelling and have had to pick the ripest ones.
Anyone for Marmalade ?
