The overnight frost quickly burned off, and we already have a beautiful day with wall to wall bright blue skies and light easterlies.

Cold, but sunny start, at 2 degrees. Could see 13 degrees later if the sun can stay clear of teh cloud, so perhaps, 'Taps aff'?

8 degrees and cloudy. High of 12 degrees mid afternoon as the rain starts and continues for the rest of the day. Residents of Fife waiting for the rust spots to join up to produce an early Spring tan ...

Shouldn't bother me, though. Afternoon to be spent at the Stroke Clinic for the first appointment of follow up checks, in the depressingly titled 'Medicine of the Elderly' Section. I'm not 70 yet!

Good day for sharing a bottle of fizz with cronies, on the terrace.

With the scent of blossom all around its a perfect spring morning, and identical to the one we shared 50 years ago today.
