Easterly breezes.
The first Golden Oriole arrived to serenade us at breakfast.

Calm, light haze.
25 degrees forecast.
More bird arrivals.
Large Stock pigeon crashing around in the trees, coo-ing away.
Hoopoes, Blackbirds, Orioles, and a Robin chirruping.
Noisy breakfast on the terrace.

Not a cloud in the sky again and should be pleasantly warm to sit out again later.

7 degrees and sun behind clouds. High of 14 degrees but the sun will take a Bank Holiday 1/2 day and the clouds will assume centre stage. But no rain, which is important because we're having the new Shed base laid today!

Supposed to be a the warmest day of the year according to Liz, t'int quite cool at 7c and foggy too I can barely see across the valley.

Slightly warmer.
Birdsong blasting away.

Easter Parade in the village.
They lay a carpet of flowers and herbs through the main streets from the church.
The town band and the faithful, troupe out of church and walk along it, shouting, " Hallelujah! ".
Keeps them off the streets, bless 'em.

Whilst it'll be a mild 13 degrees, the south westerlies picked up speed overnight, bringing rain that will become heavier throughout the day.

Just about to leave a site near Lampeter where I've been trout fishing for a few days, grey cooler and heavy squally showers this morning, did see our first swallows yesterday and the bonus of a kingfisher ........
