The Nissan dealer plugged their computer in and declared that it needed a new £5000 battery because I had plugged it in to recharge it when it was already 80% full. That invalidates the warranty, he said. The reason we did that was because we have solar panels and naturally whenever the sun shone we rushed out and plugged the car in............. Still sittting with a full battery even after using loads of power in the house and charging up both EV’s - ............
