Overnight rain cleared by 0900 and the sun made a short appearance before clouding over again. Can't complain it stayed dry and above freezing all day.

It's been a brilliant day, dry, bright, not a cloud in the sky, but just a tad chilly.

After a soggy night, we wil have a cloudy day with occasional heavy rain, moderate south easterly breeze, and 7 degree high.

Like a skating rink round here. After over a week of really low temperatures (-4 to -9) and a fair bit of snow it suddenly decided to rain early this morning. We now have sheet ice everywhere and those poor souls who can‘t garage their cars can’t get into them now as they are covered in ice as well!
