Name‘s not familiar to me Gordon but did he live at Auchattie by any chance? There’s a guy down there with his own helicopter. Pal of mine over the road took delivery of a new Bentley Bentayga recently - a lovely car but well out of my price range. I’ll just have to make sure I get plenty of lifts from him.

No he had two rows of garages connected by stairs underground air cond with a gold oil rig hat on the way down and I've never seen so much valuable stuff inc designer shoes and his wife's handbags
series 1 Land Rover folks,astons etc the other guy along by the pub with the water wheel he had a go cart track in his grounds and the front end of a fighter jet he was on the opposite side of the pub ,but there were many as well,going back a few years now ,also have a bottle of sienna whisky from him as he had shares I. That buis as well

Pub with the water wheel (surprisingly called the Water Wheel Inn!) has now gone. Demolished several years back to make way for a new housing development. That’s all a bit closer to Aberdeen than we are.
