Well storm wotsit name is making itself felt wind getting harder but the rain hasn't come to much so far.
Hatches battened tight for between 1 n 3 when it's supposed to peak.

On a different note, a flower bed close to home has the daffodils sprouting up already, never seen this before in December.............Bizarre!!

Strong southerly winds, very cloudy, and 11 degrees. Just back from an invigorating walk, and home in nice time to miss the torrential rain that is due shortly.

It's good to see young families out in the fresh air, and not just the 1950s thing that I remember so well.

II'm not surprised, the beach area will be taking full brunt of this storm and the heavy seas full on. Hopefully any damage will be minimum.

Well looking at some of the A9 posts the gale's and rain it ain't that bad here

Everything flooded round here as well. Family are really struggling to get home to Penicuik as nearly all the roads (including A90 at Forfar) are closed. On the very short trip into Banchory earlier I spotted 4 flooded cars and loads of underbody debris from cars that are so special the owners don’t think need to slow down in floods.
