Pretty much the same here, except it's a toasty 11 degrees and we've a travel warning.

(There's always been travel warnings around the New Year, although the Thames Tunnel flooding and it's affect on Eurostar is a bit different.)

You could cross over to Wee Cumbrae, it wont be raining as hard there compared to Great Cumbrae, which is where you are.

Bright start, 7° but about a 5° chill factor, late morning heavy showers have eased, they say it should be dry now, we'll see ........ off to Chester Zoo with the grandkids for the lanterns.

Lovely day here now the mist has lifted. Went for a short walk along the track from our house today (no driving as had a couple of glasses of Bucks Fizz at breakfast!)
