Today has been windy and rather chilly bordering on cold!..tonight it’s blowing a hoolie and cold but it’s forecast to get warmer yay ? bring it on!

The weather was glorious in London. Dry at the moment but cool and windy back in Glasgow. It’s back to the traditional rain here tomorrow, just in time to dirty the van as we set off on our travels.

I knew it was tempting fate when you washed it, Bill.
Have a good trip. Pleased to hear that Susie is well enough. Hope the weather improves for you.
Here is pleasant, not too hot, not too breezy.
The forecasters are toying with us.. They now say rain for Thursday and Friday.. Great news for us, if it happens, but our relatives, flying in at great expense, won't be so impressed.

Got away with a clean van, only a few spots of rain on the way South. Now in sunny Blackpool for a couple of days and it’s pouring down. ️️️

Grey, misty 14 degrees.
We can see the weather front bringing rainclouds',to our southeast.
Forecast to rain ,lunchtime, when we'd planned a BBQ..it will continue for the next 36 hours, they say.
We might have to swap the pre- party Champagne for hot chocolate.
Hopefully the forecast will be up to it's usually accuracy?

Yesterday was warm and sunny in the bulb fields.
So we drove north to the world's largest steam engine:



....and then further north still to view a wonderful collection of windmills:



All under a blue sky.

Today started sunny here between the rivers Waal and Lek.
So we cycled to the UNESCO World Heritage Windmill site at Kinderdijk.
Where there are quite a few windmills:

We love Blackpool Bill the last we were there the hotel owner was telling us that they are trying to clean it up on the front and also telling the shop owners to paint and clean it up or they will do it and send them the bill!

There’s certainly a lot of work going on there to smarten things up. There’s nowhere else like it. Definitely my favourite place. It’s another sunny morning here today, but moving on to Chester where temperatures will also be in the 20s.
