Weather Report..................

well, it really doesnt know what it wants to do today.....suns trying very hard.....however...clouds are winning.......may get some rain at sometime or other today.........windy./breezy here in the north east....

all enjoy your day

Heavy showers and then bursts of sunshine but coming from Oban it was just heavy rain ☔️ and the wind is picking up now and that is what the forecast says high winds and heavy rain with a yellow weather warning ⚠️

Well it decided to just rain tonight and well it’s still raining now and they weren’t wrong about the wind picking up just reminds me when we got caught in that hurricane a couple of years ago in a car park with nowhere to move to! Poor Malcolm’s arm was black and blue!

It stayed dry yesterday so bringing the racing forward paid off. Today as forecast it’s showery now with more rain to come. Our three weeks here is nearly over, could easily have filled another week or more. The IOM really is motorhome heaven. Great places to stay, easily accessible facilities and never crammed in like on a campsite or aire. The residents too are very welcoming.

It's about 16°C right now here in Hertfordshire with a gentle breeze and a good proportion of blue up above.
Yesterday was a good one - a long bike ride and the medical for the >3.5 tonne licence went well with lots of very positive feedback from the doctor and optician. I've plenty of time before I need to apply for the licence renewal but I really wanted to know if there are any issues with the D4 form lest I needed to downsize the Moho.
For information, the medical can be arranged and the D4 form completed up to 4 months ahead of the licence application if anyone else wishes to do similar.

Reasonable Autumn day in Leeds yesterday
.Blimey ! Has the town centre changed, since we last walked along The Headrow and Briggate 6 years ago.
Luckily, The Turk's Head, AKA Whitelocks is still there .
We sheltered from the brisk NW breezes , lunching with our nephew who was just passing through from Perth, Australia .
His bad influence and Old Peculiar, made it a very pleasant reunion.
Cooler, grey and breezy, this morning.
Won't need tha factor 50 or the galoshes.

now bAck in n.yorks........rain stayed away for the journey back down the A1....traffic was heavy......also hold ups with road works......wasnt pleasant............looks a bit stormy at the moment...so probably get rain overnightl
came back to overgrown garden......grass as high as meadow grass....will have to try and get it sorted at the weekend...probably sunday.....cos rain expected saturday..........windy and very chilly. brrrr.

Another wonderful start to the day here in Herts.
I've had my breakfast in the garden watching the sun creep across and then ever higher above the horizon and into the unbroken blue.
Today I'll take some containers around the lanes on their annual holiday - they like to be filled with blackberries at this time of the year.
We may have a light shower or two this evening but in the meantime...........
.............it's time to plan another trip in the Moho.
