Definitely damp in Devon

As of yesterday the weather forecast for today was wet, wet, wet.
As of today the weather forecast and fact is dry, dry, dry.
I like Hertfordshire this way and plan to potter around enjoying it.

wet, wet, and more wet....driving rain....mighty ..mighty cold...the sort that goes straight thru to the bones...........wind and more wind..........had to venture out to get milk........called in at friends for natter and coffee...........
indoors is the best place to be today i think.

Since our return from Spain and Portugal, it seems that all we have seen is rain rain rain

The weather was kind this afternoon so, having spent a bit of time checking my bike trailer over, I decided on a potter northwards along the beautiful old converted railway track that leads to Luton.
As I've mentioned in previous posts, Eric Morecambe lived locally. I have many happy memories of his TV appearances with Ernie Wise and fondly recall my chuckling at his antics. You'll no doubt remember their signature closing act:

34 degrees and unbroken sunshine for our visit to the amazing Sunnylands. It’s just a mile or two down the road but we’ve taken years to get round to visiting.

Luckily Ral and Izzy are nearby, to lead us astray...p
