It's unexpectedly dry at Bugsworth. We had plenty of blue first thing but it's now clouded over with an air temperature of about 8°C, though with the wind chill it feels more like -18°C.

Here in Paul’s favourite county, it’s breezier than Cheshire with a wind chill to go with it, but it’s dry and the forecast isn’t too bad. ....

Drove to Stirling today for the annual Christmas lunch with the 2cv club. The weather was truly diabolical, very windy with driving rain and flooding even on the motorways.
Very nice meal though.

Across in York, it was heavy showers and windy overnight, now we have clear blue and very chilly, looks good for the rest of the day......

It was a lovely sunny start to the day in Bugsworth with a temperature of about 7°C.
So I organised the Moho and returned to sunny Hertfordshire where it's a considerably warmer 8°C.
Every little helps, I'm told.

I think I misread the times on the forecast earlier, and the wind and rain is due later in fact. It’s actually been a pretty good day for the time of year.

Can I just say ... I haven’t met many people in real life yet so so not know the area you live . It would help me loads if people give a location or rough location. It also helps when planning a move north , east, south or west , especially in Scotland though we are safely ensconced for the night with permission at st Cyrus.

There are not many regulars on this thread. A little peruse back through it will reveal where they all are.

Well in West Lothian it’s very windy with heavy rain
