Weather Report..................

-4 degrees, Dave ?
You'll have to do better than that at the weekend..
We don't possess clothes for that, and the charity shops won't be open.

Well it will be in double figures on Sunday as it blows you towards us and next week doesn’t look too bad with daytime temps around 7 degrees and nighttime lows of 3 - 5 degrees, so no frost in the towns, just bring one layer of thermals to get you to Wetherspoons .....

As reported yesterday, Herts is still settled under high pressure and the associated still air and clear blue sky. It's chilly, to be sure, but invigorating.
So today I'll be cycling up onto Dunstable Downs to watch the gliders and paragliders soar up to join the birds.
I will, of course, be observing from inside the visitor centre and across the top of a large latte.

Colin :):):)

As advertised earlier, I'm looking over this:

This really is a heavenly spot and thoroughly recommended should you be in the area. There's a few mohos in the overflow car park today.

Stop me if you've heard this one before.

By teatime, yesterday, the tea leaf readers were forecasting solid unbroken rain from before midnight and all day today.

The first pitter and patter woke me at 3am.
A surge, 10 minutes later, made me sure the roof was cleaned off.
It quietened down, I hopped out and connected up the cisterns.
A squall wet my hair.
By the time I'd drled my hair and hopped back into bed.....
Not another drop fell.
Today's wild guess was for no rain for days.
Breakfast outdoors, lovely spring morning, Orange blossom scent, birdsong...
We went shopping, leaving towels hanging out too air.
Yup...
It's raining.
Just checked...
No rain forecast until late tomorrow.

Bring your roof with you at the weekend when you visit the UK, Paul.
It'll most certainly collect plenty of rain for you here.
Though you may have to use some fairly substantial anchors to keep it in position.
