Weather Report..................

Bright and breezy, this morning.
And so is the weather.
High level winds from the NE, sweeping cobwebs of cloud.
Lower NW ones racing in but don't look like bringing any rain.
Not a day for paddling, though.
 
Herts has pretty much still air at 6°C and a light grey sky.
One or two showers may or may not meet the soothsayers' expectations late this morning.
Other than that it looks to be a chilly but pleasant day.
That'll do me.

You wouldn‘t be paddling in Cheshire either Paul, the early drizzle has developed into another persistent downpour ................ if it keeps this up the farmers won’t be getting onto the fields to plant anything for a few weeks yet ...........

We live in interesting times, Dave.
We're needing some steady, persistent rain, to fill the aquifers under our valley... It's not showing any signs of arriving.
You've got too much of the stuff.
We've got visitors arriving at the month end, for desperately needed R&R and a team of decorators to fit in before then.
What's the betting that all 3 arrive on the same day...?
 
Turned cold, grey and windy here.
Just as we'd decided on a salad lunch on the terrace.
Indoors now, with the heating, ( and socks ), on.
This time yesterday, I was letting a lady tempt me into going for a paddle on a hot beach
 
It’s been a lovely sunny day here after a frosty start this morning there was now wind and it was quite mild, later around 12-ish it put in chilly and the wind got up tonight it’s another frosty one with clear skies
 
Weather forecast is for wall to wall, unbroken sunshine, no rain for 10 days.
Above is it's 100% unbroken cloud and no wind to move it on
Maybe we're not in the place that we thought we're we were in..
Or maybe we're in a parallel dimension.
 
The temperature has rocketed up to 3°C over the last couple of hours in Hertfordshire.
There's no air movement and an overcast but bright sky.
Rain is a distinct possibility later this afternoon - so methinks a bike ride in the very near future is a good option pour moi.
