Sunshine aplenty!
So a bit of pottering in the garden followed by a bit of pottering in the lanes, methinks.

The soll is like velvet.
Picked some wild spinach, from the lane.
Blue rock thrushes going through their full repertoire as we sit under the Olive, brandy in coffee.
Ominous clouds pulling in from the SW.
Can't grumble, though

Early morning rain here and 6 degrees, supposed to be turning dry mid morning for the rest of the day. Looking at the forecast we are not due to see any until Sunday.

It feels chilly this morning here in Hertfordshire, though it's actually about 6°C with still air.
The forecast is for lots of dryness in the coming days with, most importantly, rising temperatures as the weekend approaches.
That suits me very well indeed!

Three sudden heavy , stair-rod showers have arrived during the last hour.
Lovely..
I'm filling the , rarely used , small cistern now..
Looking forward to a long, luxurious ' Hotel', shower.

We had some unexpected sun earlier but now it's back to expectation with a light grey cover and the occasional blue patch.
It's about 9°C with a gentle westerly breeze.
I'm looking forward to the high pressure due to arrive at the weekend!

Looks like we've nothing better to do than go for a stroll in the country .
