The weather's stayed wonderful in Hampshire so I did a cycle ride mainly to the west of Lymington this morning:



And yes, the Water Splash at Brockenhurst was a must:



......then on to National Cycle Route 2 through the forest:









In 15km of tracks I probably saw about 12 bikes. There's been quite an investment in infrastructure for walkers, horse riders and cyclists in the New Forest and it's a tranquil, beautiful place to be. As you'd expect, there's an abundance of flora and fauna - including a deer that crossed my path about 10 metres ahead of me.
It must have been as deaf as me!
By the sea at Milford there was a wonderful view across the Solent to The Needles.

Nice sunny day in west Wales.

BBQ tonight

Yep...spoke too soon.

Had to BBQ in the garage and eat in the house due to rain!

Saw the weather reports on the News: can't believe how hot it was elsewhere in the UK. We had a warm day but started to cloud over by mid afternoon and mizzle by 5pm

Brilliant blue start to the day, had a pleasant drive back to Cheshire. The sun managed to stay around until about 3.00pm when the. cloud started to roll in with a light shower around teatime. The daughter tells me that its wet and windy on Anglesey now.
