A cold start here in west Wales but no rain/snow yet. It hoyed down with snow yesterday morning but thankfully it didnt stick.

Heavy frost first thing, had wonderful clear sky with full moon last night.
Has had a try at raining, briefly, then full sun and blue skies again....pretty normal..."Mixed" a weatherperson's dream forecast!

It's chilly, still and grey in Hertfordshire this morning.
Oh, and did I mention that we've had snow?
It's a flake monolayer and frankly is a pretty poor effort - it looks more like frost on steroids.

Lovely crisp clear day here. Lots of people out and about, especially people with sledges and boards.

Up at 0930. Breakfast on the terrace.
Nobody about, there's rumours of a 7 day lockdown.
It sounds like it.
No human noises.

Perfectly fresh, unspoilt year, so far. How long will that last ?
After a lovely morning is drizzling now.
Mustn't grumble.

Warmed up now, 3 degrees and raining. If tonight's sub zero forecast is correct there are going to be some slippy roads in the morning.

Last night/early this morning, temperature dipped to -5, but its been a lovely sunny day in Cheshire with a couple of isolated light snow showers, another cold night with clear skies. Heating on in the greenhouse.

Well it’s been pretty cold here in Essex, so cold in fact that I saw a single snow flake fall yesterday
