The rain has stopped in Herts! Having said that, the river Lee is at the top of it's banks and the horses opposite the house will need to take care lest their shoes rust.
We had a covering of frost first thing but now it's just above freezing with a light grey covering of cloud. The air is still so I plan to nip around the lanes on the Brompton with the intention of stirring it up somewhat.

As you'll be aware, there's been quite bad weather on the Iberian peninsula so, like you, I hope that all is well for them.

Good to know Paul is only ignoring us, I thought he might have fallen into the water cistern looking for the smug filter, I can stop worrying now
By the by, its murky, dry and cold in Cheshire after a hard overnight frost ......

Just had an email about the extensive floods in our hometown in Suffolk...so much rain! I will stop whingeing about the frost daily......and actually the thermometer now registers 15c as sun has come out! Not quite up to smug filter standard though!

There's plenty of snow falling on Hertfordshire this morning.
The big kid in me finds it very attractive indeed.
The sensible old man in me wonders if I'll fall off my bike later.

Wind's southerly again and bringing lots of rain --- 8 degrees

Same again as yesterday...hit 22 c in the sun briefly yesterday then plummeted to 4c about 4pm. Water starting to freeze in pipe this morning, had to run it for a long while to stop it. Fire alight and lot of tea made, so cosy indoors.

Big rise in temperature today, 9 degrees already. Light rain for now but it may be dry enough for a walk this afternoon, first time for a while as I can’t cope with slippery surfaces. 🌧🌧️

Grey start but now clearing with patches of blue blowing in from the west. Hitting 8 degrees but still got local flood alerts in Cheshire.

Living in the balmy microclimate we get here on Bute in the Firth of Clyde, we get to miss all this nasty white stuff that seems to be visiting most of the rest of the country !
Since the only trips out I should make are for essential reasons I am grateful that I have these sort of views to enjoy when having brekkie or lunch !

Miss the sea here, it's an hour or so drive...got beautiful river beaches around but in other council area so not going that far. Weather here same as yesterday....but maybe warmer

Still struggling to get above 5 degrees in Cheshire, on the bright side its dry with a gentle breeze so the wind chill isn't too bad .................. not that it matters, I'm decorating for the foreseeable future ......... this isn't a smug filter

Herts has plenty of sunshine and a gentle breeze this morning with a temperature of about 6°C.
So we're off for some socially distanced exercise in the great outdoors.
