Weather Report..................

Overnight snow was forecast, and arrived in East Sussex.

Up at 0600hrs to take Yvonne for an appointment. Ice and snow, fallen trees and branches blocking parts of the hilly roads. Beat the traffic and arrived nice and early two hours later. 👍

It pays to get out of bed. 🙂
 
Just heard that Braemar, just down the road from us, had the “lowest highest” temperature today of -9.5 deg. Had to think hard about that before I understood it! I think it means that the warmest it got was -9.5. Positively hot here at the highest temp of -4.5deg then!
 
East Sussex has a dry bright day with temperatures hovering around freezing. ❄️

The snow and ice remains, although our drive has been scraped clear should we need to motor out in a hurry. 🙂
 
Minus 4 at 0800 when I began to scrape the car screen before taking it for MOT. Heated Mirrors are a godsend! :D Sun has arived for the morning shift and it's forecast to warm up to freezing point by lunchtime ...

Just cold here in Suffolk...nearly "had a fall" in co-op carpark.....(at what age do you stop "falling over") ?
The staff rushed out with grit pretty soon after as I wasn't the only one!
The ice didn't thaw at all today, so I guess it was minus something....:rolleyes:

some places are warmer, some seriously cold, I did wonder what effect us all turning the heating off was having on the worlds climate.

I'm sorry to say people around my age stop falling over shortly before they die, because the resulting immobility all to often results in pneumonia. Cheerful aren't I. 😳

Today's forecast in East Sussex is for a bright morning and cloudy afternoon, with temperatures hovering either side of freezing. The snow remains and looks very attractive. 🙂

After an overnight low of -5 degrees, today's forecast is for a bright cold day with blue skies. ❄️ 🙂
