Well after all the wafty n drippy we had yesterday , all not supposed too, at mo its cloudy as so shall wait to see what the weather wants to do not what they weather person has predicted!

Heavy rain overnight but it’s now a bright and breezy morning. ️️

The spots of light drizzle dissipated a while ago, leaving us with a bright start that will improve, a light westerley and 20 degree high.

After our first soggy day yesterday with some heavy showers, we are now back to Puglia normal, 24° in a gusty northerly wind. Moved inland this morning for supplies and now overnighting at a restaurant just outside Avetrana ......... view from the pitch looking towards the Med.

17 degrees, patchy cloudy clearing later and 30 plus on the cards again.

Wind has dropped slightly and up to 27° later. Nice meal last night but our peace was shattered late afternoon with the arrival of a German "Clever" van which proceeded to take 35 minutes of manoeuvring back and forth to find a spot they were happy with . Anyway back to the coast today.

That's the trouble with going abroad, Dave.....
The place is crawling with foreigners!
The winds subsided, it's heating up.
This afternoon, the local nobility parade through the main streets in horse drawn carriages, dressed to the nines.
There's going to be some sweaty top hats, bowlers, never mind the horses.
Pity they don't grow Rhubarb, down here.
Some of the bigger horses can poo like elephants.
