24 degrees and blue skies today. Amazing what you get used to as 24 feels quite cool. Strong winds though which is not good for the big fires towards the coast.

In charge of the youngest grandchild this am, hoping for a walk but the forecast hasn’t provided the promised sunshine and we have heavy showers here in mid-Cheshire ️️

Blue skies in Brixham

Cold here at 6am, only 8 degrees! The air is unusually dry with dew points below zero degrees, so it will be cloudless blue skies all day, a cool 23 degrees later.

Back to normal. Some overnight rain.
Daughter left at 8.am.
I did try for an alcohol free day, but it was a cloudy 15 degrees on the terrace at 11. The brandy was medicinal, so doesn't count, does it?


Lunch outside, in bright sunshine. More drizzle expected. I'm planning to build an Ark, if Sunday next's forecast is to believed.

We've now moved down the coast to the free Aire at Castellón de la Plana.
The Aire is adjacent to what appears to be an astronomical telescope. For obvious reasons these observatories are located where the sky is generally devoid of cloud.
So why is it so grey up above this afternoon?

Cooler today, but still reached 24 degrees after a very cool start to the day. Humidity is below 5%, so nothing but blue sky with no wind at all.

It’s sunshine here today and a slight breeze but at least it’s dry lovely sunrise this morning when I went over sons to see to granddaughter! Photo isn’t that good as it’s took on my phone!
