Weather Report..................

It’s a grey but dry morning at Hollingworth Lake this morning and watch says 12 degrees but not yet ventured out. Misty keeps lifting her head and looking over though so won’t be too long

A perfect day for shorts and T shirt then, have a great time and no wild swimming in the lake.

Correct although I did have a knit over my t when I walked the dogs. I certainly won’t need that when I get the hand cycle out later though and didn’t need it last night :)

The rain continued all day here just south of Valencia, stopping about 1700.
I've been in the Moho all day catching up on reading and Brexiting.
One of which was less depressing than the other.

Colin :):):)

If sitting in your van in the rain and reading about Brexit doesn't drive you to drink nothing will.
I hope for a bright new day tomorrow just for your sanity.

Thanks, Lee.
The forecast for tomorrow is much better so I'm planning on pottering further down the coast. Then supposedly more showers Sunday and Monday, returning to better weather again from Tuesday onwards.
We'll see.

Colin ???

It turned a bit chilly here leather yesterday with a bit of breeze then got very windy overnight. Well is seem to have had one of those keep waking hearing wind nights (yes wind outside the van than you :) )

When I woke up and there was some sign of light round the blind I looked forward and it was like searchlights through the bit in screen blind where the mirror would be. Really bright sun and blue sky at least one side of the van.

At the amazing new Coaldrops Yard yesterday, the sky colour quite a contrast to the recent blues of California.

Morning,Bill.
While you're in London, can you pop down to Gravesend and see how Benny the Beluga is going on.
. We've heard nothing on the news for a fortnight...
. Is there some bad news that they are trying to hide from us, behind Bake off, Strictly and Brexit. We're getting very worried.
Oh the weather.... Morosely grey, can't see Fig Mountain, so rain is imminent. 16 degrees.. Sockless and tee shirted. South winds have brought a flock of green Parakeets to shout at us.

I think that Benny may simply have headed back out to sea, I’m sure all the news about Brexit would have been on the back burner if he was still around WIKIPEDIA REPORT

I'm delighted to report that there was no pitter-patter of rain, no lightning and no thunder overnight.
So I've pottered south through the citrus groves to a cove at Pedramala Fanadix where there's a lovely view of the headland near Calpe:

The area is just like a Spanish version of the Provence/Monaco coast. Lots of discreet light coloured, low rise residences clinging to the steep slopes above the sea.
Tonight they'll have an unexpected guest at the cove who'll be slipping off to sleep whilst listening to the waves.
