It's a dry start to the day at this wild camp:

And long may it stay so.

Well I thought we had a freak heat wave until I managed to stagger out of bed wet through only to find Caz had left heating on all night!

Heater is under French bed so was like having electric blanket on all night, just getting back to right temperature an hour and a quarter later lol

Tomatoes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,..,!,,,

We got the rain..
. Dead on time, plus horizontal lightening and thunder..just as we were turning in for the night... Thanks Colin.. !
. About 20 mm overnight, and more forecast during the week... I feel vindicated about taking the van down the hill to safer parking.
. Still 17 degrees, but due to change, as the easterly winds veer to NW.

All change..!
Just as I'd disconnected the feed to the overflowing cisterns , at
8 pm, the wind changed 360 degrees. Sky cleared, dry night . Lovely morning..
Good day for a walk and see the state of the lane.

Lunch on the terrace... wouldn't have believed this possible at lunchtime yesterday.

Going to pick this year's pomegranite crop.. it will take me longer to put the ladder up, than pick it..all one of it.

There was heavy rain overnight in Benidorm (please don't ask).
Today the theme has continued with a temperature of about 12°C.
So I've moved away from Benidorm (???) to a lovely wild but wet camp above a cove at Compello.
The forecast is looking distinctly better from tomorrow.
Now I know why Jane flies in to Alicante tomorrow morning to join me for the potter down to Malaga. How did she know that?

Weather's been gorgeous at Hollingworth... until today  Now I'm f f f f flippin' freeeeeeezing, damp and chilled to the bone and the wind is howling round the van like a whirling dervish. Very early night after supper I think... it'll be cosy under the duvet
