Weather Report..................

Colin do you know why they call it that?

I believe the name 'Playa de los Muertos' (Beach of the Dead) refers to the number of bodies washed up there in days gone by, Jeanette.
The beach is lovely but frankly a little over rated by those tasked with selling it to tourists and definitely over populated in the summer. It's made up of very fine pebbles so is gritty rather than sandy. On the other hand it's a stone collector's paradise because the sea has graded the pebbles into bands of stones of differing sizes. This time of the year is the time to visit.
I'm just grateful that nothing untoward happened to us since the moon was pretty much a full one! Bodies rising from the beach at midnight would have made that a wildcamp to remember!

Colin :):):)

We've now wildcamped in glorious solitude on the 3km long beach just to the south of Aguadulce, Andalucia. The weather has steadily improved through the day and this evening we were treated to a wonderful sunset as the sky progressively reddened behind the date palms:

and now looking in the opposite direction the moon has risen above the Moho:

I feel so lucky to experience this amazing display of beauty in the heavens.

Colin ???

Just been outside and it’s quite mild and still no wind or rain where we live is backing onto the woods so you can hear animals and then you’ve got the birds in the trees moving about!..haha

I afraid no nice pictures of glorious weather, chilling winds, depending on the position of the cars parked they are getting frosty, don't know what the forecast brings today, as yet no rain here in Milnrow Lancashire

I'm hoping that the weather we have this morning is a sign of things to come:

It's about 15°C and warming rapidly as I work my way through a cafetierre of coffee here on the beach at Aguadulce.

Colin ???

The forecast was for unbroken drizzle, all day. Management decided not to use the washing machine overnight, on cheap electric.
. 8 degrees at dawn, outside, she told me. 10 degrees at 8.30. Misty and cloudy.
. 11.00, coffee time.. 14 degrees, sunny. Goodly slug of brandy, sitting on the Mezzanine terrace, watching dark, high clouds from the north, fluffy grey, lower, from The SW. Pair of Buzzards soaring overhead.
Brightened up.. Long sleeves removed... It started to rain . Who needs daytime Tv?
