What did you do to your van today?

Not to everyone’s taste ! But it’s nobody else’s business ! It’s paid for and it’s mine🤣👍
Also gives a bit more insulation 👍
I first used this flooring in my VW T25 years ago, grey only bought from Costco. Installed same in my Dethleffs, and currently installed in our Arto. It is brilliant stuff, easy to keep clean, soft on the hoof, and as you stated, adds insulation. When it comes to replace our grey I'll certainly look for the coloured panels for a change, I like it (y)

I like that flooring. Fun (y)

I want to swap out the carpet in my Motorhome for some hard flooring and will then need to get something to put over the top to make it soft again (sounds counterproductive, but fixed carpet is impossible to keep clean :( )
I use mat cuts from carpet shop, all free, down over click sinthetic wood floor which has insulation bubblewrap under it.

Filled the water tank up bled system and fired up heating
filled drinking water container ,put clothes in van
stocked food cupboard
put raffle gifts and bevy in van 🍷😀👍
final clean of interior mirrors etc

WEnt out and removed the temp sender unit as faulty, saying in house that van is at 45c.
Also put some paper towels at bottom of w screen to catch any condensation running down, dont want it to get into the electrics.

Enough left to do the shower tray 👍View attachment 70516
Andy, did you glue the colour sections together ie; blue to red, yellow to red?

I don't have the shower/toilet covered with matting, had area only, areas with joins, I usually gaffer tape the undersides, saves doing a jigsaw removing and re-instating for cleaning purposes.

Mmm. Been thinking of ways to insulate the floor a bit more. Great idea, and I already have some of that matting.
To put it under my carpet, or to use it at all, I’d have to trim the pantry door and the lower drawer, otherwise they wouldn’t open.

Here you go Mr T, my intro to chequer floor matting within my old 1980 VW T25 camper, aka "The Bang Bus" :giggle:

I then got a tad carried away and added aluminium check plate to other areas of camper 😁
