What did you do to your van today?

Friday filled fresh water tank with water and the purification stuff and fed it through system, today flushed it all out with fresh water ready for 1st trip this year up to Inverness.
Is this annual flushing really worth the effort seeing as we dont drink from it anyway?
Also removed leisure battery to try to pulse charge it - last saloon before the bin.
We did it years ago, but not since. I have a dicky tum at the best of times, but nothing from the tank has upset it, (in 12 different vans) as we always boil for drinks and cooking, we buy (a LOT) of water for drinking.

Sorted out the built in wfi, we inherited with the van smarty unlimited sim fitted in it.
Washed it ready to roll again

Packing our clothes we need tomorrow for 3 festival weekend back to back.
Melton Mowbray 1940 weekend .
Spirt of sherwood 1940 weekend.
Audlem fes lots different music .

Retirement is hard work.lol

I usually swap front to back at some time in the tyres life as well. not bothered with the motorhome as don't do anywhere near enough miles to make any difference.

Following a spate of motorhome thefts in the north west, decided to go the extra mile and put a vinyl reg plate on the mh roof to allow easier ANPR tracking should the worst occur. What I hadn't factored in was the three hours it took to clean the roof before sticking the plate on 🤣🤣.
You all know that yesterday was National Polish (the front of) your Motorhome day, don’t you? Well today was National Wash Your Motorhome Roof day. Tomorrow might be National Polish Your Motorhome Roof Day. Depends if it’s raining or dry-but-not-sunny.

Every time I get up there I gawp at the useless stainless steel roof rack rails and the useless stainless steel ladder on the back. It must have been the latest desperate showroom bling thing to sell new motorhomes in 1999. They’re still at it, shoving expensive garbage on to Motorhomes to make them look good in showrooms but pretty useless as soon as you get home

Chased up the upholstery firm. The foam is expected later this week so the cushions *should* be ready for the Barnoldswick Rally, but it is going to be tight ... 🤞

Polished the roof. Dry, cloudy day, 13 degrees. Ideal. What surprised me a bit was that although I had washed and scrubbed the solar panel yesterday, when I polished it today a lot of dirt came off on to the polishing cloth. So it is worth it . . . I won’t show another photo, it looks the same but water will run off more freely.
