Who's Awake

Well, it's nearly 5pm here and I have been volunteered to work in my daughter-in-law's restaurant as a member of staff has not turned up! Don't know how much use I will be...I can say hello and thank you in Thai but not much else! We shall see...bet I will be clearing tables and washing up!

Every little helps.:D

Morning campers :b0231:

Dry day here with a wishy-washy blue sky but I'm happy with that.

Just had a fun game of 'test every key in the pot' with the next door neighbours. We knew they had one that fit my front door but why is it always the last one? They've recently changed all their locks to use the same key - front door, side gate and conservatory door. I'm not sure how that works but they've done it... which meant I no longer had a key that worked, so they've given me a new one. Their two grown up sons have always lost keys, so Martin and I have been letting them in to their own house since they were youngsters. The boys now have a combined age of 53 and have their own homes but still managed to get locked out on the C-day when their parents were away. The poor cats were stuck inside the house for 2 days, so they were spooning tinned tuna to them through the letterbox. You couldn't make it up

So is this the best look alike for Phil? you know he's your magic coffee provider when you're away, now he's got his special coffee machine.

Think I prefer the frost to the non stop rain we've been getting lately Gordon.

Morning folks,
Looks another cold one out there, anyone else about yet?

You were up and about just as I was finally dropping off Chris... wish I could sleep better at home.
It's a sparkly, crisp day here in Sussex but I'm still hibernating a bit and not tempted to get out and about in the world yet. I've stripped the van of anything washable and spent about £10 worth of electricity on the tumble drier this past few days alone! Worth it though... an early spring clean. I still need to clean the van itself inside and out but it's a good start. I also want to clear out all the cupboards and lockers for the annual 'haven't used this at all' session but the moon boot slows me down, so I'm not in full Valkyrie mode yet.

Seems odd not to have a meet to get ready for... withdrawal symptoms already! Happy Sunday everyone :Hugging_Face_Emoji:

Afternoon campers it’s a bright frosty and sunny day here having a quiet Sunday up till now! Jennie it’ll not be long before you get your moonboot off

Less than 2 weeks now Jeanette... looking forward to it. My daughter-in-law said over the holidays, do you think your leg will be all skinny afterwards like my arm was when it came out of plaster?
I said if it was, I'd get myself full body version :Tears_of_Joy_Emoji:
