I’ll ask the question I’m sure some other people would like to ask, Gordon. Not being mechanically gifted (assuming it is some sort of mechanical device) can you please let me know in words of one syllable what an S 11 is or does? !!!

Thanks for clearing that up Gordon. I had read it as S11 rather than SIL and even googled it to see if it was some fantastic new feature Volvo had developed for their trucks! Hope that you had a good trip and you enjoyed driving the new truck (if SIL allowed you to)

Decided to give ourselves a small treat so off to stay in a decent hotel in Ballater for the night so that we can have dinner and a drink or three at the very excellent Fish Shop restaurant down there. Won’t be cheap but it’s nearly Christmas!
Not as good as son and family who are heading out for fondue night at the Fife Arms Hotel in Braemar - recently voted as “best hotel in the world” however that is measured.
