evening jeanette........heard tell that puppy took to the caravan well.........sorted..........she will be settling in nicely now, im sure she will be no bother in the van...well hopefully.
yes its been very windy here also,,,,,,,,managed to get a few things dried outside on the line, which was nice.......
radio tells me..... north wind oth blow towrds the end of the week.....may bring snow to parts of scotland.........dont want it here tho.

I heard that trixie as we were going to go away in the van...but babysitting duties tomorrow and Thursday so that’s why we went to the caravan! And it’s forecast to be really cold by the weekend and there will be snow ...brrr she took to the caravan better than we thought she would trixie to be honest.. so can’t wait go away in the van..I had towels on the line today and other washing and I got those dried love to get the washing on the line!

It wasn’t too bad here this morning Sue but before I had hung d/I/l’s washing out the wind picked up! Still it dried in no time! How’s David Sue?

he's not bad Jeanette. Still gets winded quickly and it takes ages for him to eat a meal but he's still here. The problem is he's not happy to sit, he's even been looking at vans to convert.:eek:

You always sound chirpy, have they got your problems under control or do you just ignore them as much as you can? Not easy taking it steady with kids and a puppy.:D

I is up and been up for ages, been shopping, changed dressing on wifes hand and just waiting for the rain to stop then i can wash the car.
 
morning all..........HMMM what to do today i wonder.....would like a nice run out in the coutryside, its such a beautiful day.
my go down to the market town and see whats going on there.

jeanette is the puppy going for walks yet.............dont know how you do it all........keeps you fit tho....nice to get the washing out on the line....smells so fresh afterwards......been the ideal weather for it.

pleased david is doing well SUE.......its good that he want to be up doing things....it will make him feel better also if he can achieve things.............
ould have done with a trip to druridge this weekend if weather had been warmer.........(got me rose coloured specs on)...

all enjoy the day.....
 
Your not wrong Trixie, a few days up there with this weather would be great.

Just remembered it's Goth weekend at Whitby, that should be entertaining.

its times like this sue, that as much as i love the campervan......it would be nie to have something a bit larger with space for a heater and a bit more room...........i imagine the atmosphere in whitby at goth weekend would be brilliant.
years ago use to attend the folk festival weekend every year...thoroughly enjoyed it.......
might try the pirates weekend this next year if possible........
 
Wow! Have just woken up to this lot this morning and it has now started again, really massive flakes, need to take more piccies in a bit!

Morning strangers, btw, have been v. busy last few weeks so not on forums much lately! :(

its cold blustery, and wet, wet...what i all a mucky day.....not at all pleasant. wont be venturing out today,,,,,,

Just seen this Sue but to answer your question no they haven’t Sue and sadly it’s getting worse and I have another hospital appointment soon to see what and if they can do, but I think I’ve had it for that long I just try and ignore it but g/kids and now the puppy keeps me on my toes (so to speak)!

Evening/ morning all trixie the pup loves walks and she especially loves the beach she’s not keen on the sea though..haha pity I didn’t have my wellies I could have gone in the sea to encourage her..haha we’ve had some beautiful days trixie and it would be lovely going out in the car,

On a totally different tack, here's some pictures of cushions I've managed to make a couple of weeks back with fabric I'd had stashed away for well over 12 years. Such a blummin hoarder I am!

It's only the top cushion with the grasses on it, it's a cheap linen remnant from when we used to have a few more fabric/habedashery shops around. Made two identical. They're big boudoir(?) type cushions. The 'posh' inners were £5 each :eek: - I pushed the boat out! - they are nice and well-stuffed plump-y feather ones from Ikea.

Really must sort out and use or get rid of all the crafty-type stuff I've got clogging up the drawers and the spare room. {sigh}
Keep imagining I'll manage to tart up the old camper with all my boho ideas, but it'll probably never happen as life in general always seems to get in the way... you think you might have a spare day or weekend and then a spanner comes along... lol ;)
