Morning not been too bad here today still windy but not as bad as some places. Son had to pick up his recycling this morning it decided to fly about!! Now it's sunny but windy, son's are here doing the loft so a lot of drilling and knocking!! Chris I hope your mum keeps her feet firmly on terra firma!!
 
Still blowing a gale here our incinerator bin blew over so there is ash all over the garden and there is a phone line down it was thrashing about on the road but someone has gaffa taped it to the telegraph pole.

Hi all.. I'm home from the New Year bash after an extra night in Stratford. Windy as heck on the drive home and it must have been blowing a hooley here in Sussex too because half the roofing felt on the garden shed has vanished and my flowerpot man has taken a nose-dive off his flowerpot perch, poor chap. Now I'm taking to my sick bed to ride out a cold I've managed to pick up at the meet. The 'do not disturb' sign is up... unless you're bringing me a hot toddy and some grapes of course :smile:

Jennie, it sounds like you've not thrown off your original cold, a hot toddy sounds like a plan.

No such luck Sue. Got to go for another xray; doc still doesn't think her shoulder is broken but there's a shadow they can't identify on the first xrays.
How did your jungle outing go?
 
They both had a smashing time. They played until they couldn't keep going, the little one especially. She couldn't play but she cried cos we had to leave.

Sorry to hear about your mum. Hopefully they're right and she hasn't broken anything.
 
Evening all hope your mum gets put right soon Chris, Jennie your having a right time of it with colds it seems as if you can't shake them off as Sue says! Sue hope David is keeping well?
 
Not doing too bad Jeanette. It's taking time to get his energy levels going, and to get meds right. We'll just have to be patient.

How are you doing? Have they got your heart meds sorted?

And soon as dementia kicks in memories will be gone too the sniffles are still raging and it’s wet here but the wind has dropped so now awaiting the frost they said was coming.

Not yet with the holidays having test for RA now they thought that a couple of years ago, Malcolm says they are trying to find out if I have a heart Sue haha it will take time for David but he will get there and then you can go off in the van,

Morning all... well it's still morning for me because I only woke up about an hour ago after not dropping off until gone 3am despite feeling exhausted. I'm working on feeling human again... watch this space :rolleyes:
What have I missed? Where did you pick up a parking ticket Hipster?
 
outside my house had bllue badge but set time clock wrong tried to get out of it but didnt
