Sadly not Chris we were hopeful last week about one it looked like the layout was okay for us but when we saw more photos of it it had a broken window and there was a massive crack in the bumper it looked like it had been hit really hard,and for the money they were asking we decided to leave it,I know it was second hand and that it wouldn’t be perfect,but for me the window definitely put me off and we didn’t want to start mending it! So sadly no van as yet! We have had 18/1/2” of snow here Chris and I finally got to go and play in it,with whirlwind plus my son and d/I/l Malcolm was wise and stayed in and made cups of tea!! ?

Dawn had to stop Mum yesterday - she only wanted to go for a walk in the snow (it was blizzard conditions and would have blown her over!)
Still snowing now, but the wind doesn't sound so bad.
 
Awake going to get ready soon to go and collect the hrs from the hosp night shift ,very cold here
 
We're warming up a bit, I think. Temp showing as 4 degrees, first time above zero for a few days.
 
Hovering between zero and one degree here. If I peer very hard through the heavy falling snow, I can see more heavy snow coming down!
 
Thawing fast with steady rain. The local rivers will struggle with the melt water off the moors and this rain as well.

Our thick blanket of snow from yesterday has completely gone and it's not a bad day out there at all. I do believe the beast has been tamed :)
I was supposed to be at Greywell this weekend (cancelled), so now need to find something to do here to keep me occupied. There must be a million jobs on my to do list but I think all this cold weather has frozen my motivation. Might do some baking and pig out on yummy things to make up for not being away. Have a good weekend everyone.
 
We’ve still got snow and whirlwind’s snowman is still standing! Jennie that sounds the perfect idea, Malcolm’s just managed to get off the estate today to go to the garden son took him yesterday and Thursday then friend was seeing to them,the icicles on the roof are dripping so it must be thawing slowly!
 
Morning all,

Still a few heaps of soggy snow, but most of it has melted. Listening to the rain bouncing off the roof.
Gurt big moth has just flown in, must be mad flying in this weather; seems very interested in what I'm typing!
 
Morning all m6 j3 bedworth .. still got snow wet and horrible morning but it's melting fast.
 
Morning been out fired up heating in van checked the old girl out as I dont want her to catch a chill or ought she looks after me so I look after her ???
 
Still snowing here been a steady fall albeit a bit wetter for the last 2*00hrs hope it stops and let things get cleared up a bit
