Morning quiet weekend as kitchen fitters not back until Monday
Our kitchen replacement is still in progress [but we got water back on late Friday after a 5 days using the bathroom sink and a 1 litre jug ....]. Aldi Cottage Pie cooked in the Airfryer saved the day ...Morning off to Morrisons for a cooked chicken for Sunday lunch while the kitchen is out of action it will do us.
The Joiner will be back at 08:00 today to install the cooker hood, fit the unit doors, plumb in the dishwasher and connect the fridge, both of which are in the lounge at the moment, fit the final splashbacks and lay the kitchen floor. Then he has to fit a new door from the Dining Room, take a 2 week holiday, and return to lay a new floor in the lounge and dining room, provided that the plasterer has arrived to skim ceiling and walls and the hole that used to be the fireplace ...This is our temporary kitchen we had an old coffee table in the garage that we put in the bay window, we have an air fryer and a sandwich toaster too.
