I thought I was the only pedant who insists on correctly referring to them as door mirrors!not seen an actual wing mirror outside of a museum for years
Try the WING MIRROR MAN OnlineI hope someone can help me. I have a 2021 Elddis 194 van. Passenger wing mirror was damaged and while it still works including indicator it will need replacing prior to bi-annual check. Van is based on Peugeot Boxer but Peugeot replacements are extremely expensive and I am sure a generic would do. PLEASE...can anyone tell me where this could be sourced? Thank you
My first 2 vehicles had wong mirrors - 1967 ex North Sea Gas Bedford 8cwt Van, then a 1971 1159cc Viva DL, just before the next model had the 1256cc engine. Both vehicles had a chromed nut on the back so that you could ensure that the adjustment stayed adjusted (until some git undid the nut and nicked the mirror)My first car had wing mirrors, a Vauxhall Viva HB. All my cars since then have had door mirrors![]()
Good enoughThank you for your advice. I have certainly found one on (eBay) which has the right arm length and everything looks the same as mine. What I don't understand why these are readily available and at such a good price and are they a good buy? Peter
