8 quid for a couple of bags. Wow lol.

You could make some up with uv reflective material, you could do without, you could remove the blades altogether but I chose to spend £8. My choice, my money and I will spend it as I please.

Which are the best make & type.
I Have been disappointed with the quality of wipe on the n/s the of my fiat ducato, if it were lhd even worse!!!!
Where the screen bends they leave a very patchy smear!
Any opinions for source and advice welcome.

Grrrrrrrrr Bosch ones came we’re wrong fitting size despite 4 clip options!!!
Only suitable fitting were Valeo so have to try them I guess!!!!!
20 miles from nearest supplier, need to get out more!

If you have a "Fleet Factors" in your area they do flat blades that work great on curved screens, they are designed to fit onto the old style metal wiper arms too. I got a set of three for just over £25.

It may be the tensioning spring in your wiper arm is tired and applying to little pressure to the blade.

I just got cheapo Michelin blades from Aldi when they had them last year, just under a fiver each I think.work great

Try www.wiperblades.co.uk normally have some pretty good discounts on various makes. One called 'Blades' is a hybrid and works brill on our T5

The best wipers I have ever had were DIY ones. You get a box with a number of long strips of rubber blade and metal backing strips. You cut them to length and fit them in the existing frame. They lasted 3 or 4 times longer than ready made ones.

And they are also cheap enough and slim enough to stock a set of spares so that you can replace them at the first sign of wearing out.
