Oh dear, oh dear. I think that I've made rather an embarrassing faux pas.
I've been telling people with some confidence that the storm to follow Dennis would be named Edina.
Hertfordshire has started to dry out. We have a gentle breeze, plenty of sun and a great deal of anticipation.
It's fairly chilly at 5°C but the lack of rain and lack of strong wind is definitely a move in the right direction.
So........a much-missed bike ride is called for!

This morning's forecast was for unbroken sunshine all week.
We've important Motorhoming nobility visiting and a sophisticated lunch planned for Wednesday .
So we set up the terrace for 6, BBQ brushed and ready..
So it's clouded over and the forecast is for rain. The birds certainly agree.
I suppose I'd better take down the parasols that have been overwintering in the shed, .. And put them away again.
