The weather definitely improved here on the north Cornish coast this afternoon. In fact some of the Offsprung took boards into the briny:

13 degrees and dry but cloudy for now, expecting some showers. ️🌧

41 degrees on the terrace. No breeze.

Gipsy market today .

We might risk a chicken piri Piri Lunch there, if it feels safe . Red wine is a good antivirus screen.

Then it is my plan to spend the afternoon in a cool shady place, near a fan, listening to Test Match Special, with something long and cool in a frosted glass

What could possibly go wrong...?

Today started sunny and mild but cloud and a breeze has been building as the morning has progressed.
On the other hand, it's dry, so a walk along the beautiful north Cornwall coastline is in prospect.
My thoughts are with those currently under Hurricane Hanna.

Yes I have followed all the cricket and TMS commentary works
No play today
Enough time tomorrow I suspect WIndies will subside.
So far they have done pretty well but given the match situation...
BUT who knows we get lots of surprises with cricket.
