Weather Report..................

It's misty, still and 1°C in Herts this morning but we're expecting that to improve dramatically with a high of 2°C confidently forecast for later this afternoon.
Am I craving the Canary Islands this winter?
Nope - why on earth would I?

That's where this mega thread started, Colin..
Let us know how much your flights are ?
@Rec.. Painters , Nah....!
We had lunch on the new SE Terrace...
Raised a glass to,. "Absent Friends".
Northwest squalls arriving across the valley.
Maybe the painters know more about the weather, than the forecasters..?

11 degrees, light clouds, may be all of 15, later.
The landscaping lads are due this morning..
It will be ' interesting', if the invisible painters materialise too.

Looking forward to a large coffee and brandy at elevenses.

It's -1°C in Herts this morning with a bright, mainly blue, sky.
The wind is virtually still so there'll be little wind resistance to blame my average speed on.

The landscapers joined the painters, by not turning up either.
But the plumber came.
No rain, wind dropped and we managed lunch Al fresco.
It's going to be a cool one, overnight.
No problem
It's hot chocolate for her and hot toddy for me.
No shortage of supplies .
Oranges from our tree, lemons from a neighbour, honey and Aguadente firewater from the local farmer's co-op.

Love the toddy idea, I have litres of aguadente waiting to be turned into something drinkable! Our neighbour gives us a couple of litres regularly and doesn't like refusal. Made various liqueurs out of it but a hot toddy is appealing!

It's warmed up a treat in Herts - in fact all the way up to a toasty 4°C - and the sky has a fair proportion of blue.
So I'm definitely off for a bike ride around the lanes with a finale in Grape Tree to collect some bread and biscuit making supplies.

Are you back in Civilisation, Ruth...?
You'll need the Agadente.

Not to bad for a December day .
Scudding clouds North Westerly on high, Westerly below. When the blue gaps coincide, we get sunshine.
The painters swanned in during a particularly long blue gap, put on a coat, faster than I can put on my jacket and wished us a FelizIMG_20201209_102113.jpgIMG_20201209_101952.jpgIMG_20201209_102028.jpg Natal..
