Food Poll

I am running a poll to see what food people would like have a look here:

Please could you put just me back on the attendance list, as I still would like to attend for every night, including all the meals.Ta Muchly, Mike.

Hi Phil,

Hoping Helen (Helsque ) is well enough for new year.
She fell on the decking at home yesterday and I had to call an ambulance.
Thankfully Alison ( my daughter who is a nurse ) was available to go with her to hospital.
I’m now chief cook and bottle washer….
Helen has a broken bone in her arm…actually three breaks in the bone. Plus a very bruised knee and finding walking very difficult. Oh, and a possible broken toe.
We both spent last night sleeping downstairs on the reclining sofa and chair as she’s unable to get upstairs.

Whilst the hospital have done all they could and her arm is now in a plaster cast there is a possibility she will need further surgery when she visits the hospital in a couple of weeks.

So….she quite obviously is and still will be unable to drive at new year.
All being well, we still hope to attend…but it will just be in my van, so only the one pitch needed.
Fingers crossed ( mine, not hers …she can’t use ‘em ) that we will be there.
Further updates nearer the time.
Thanks.

Hope things progress positively. What a rotten thing to happen.

I am really sorry to hear this, hopefully she will have a speedy recovery.

Hi Phil I probably won't maje it until Friday as won't be back from Scotland until 27th. Hope that's ok.
You mentioned contributing biscuits and cakes; I'm assuming that means bought rather than homemade because of our more vulnerable members?
Are we allowed small firepits if on field?
Lastly I have a large Jenga game. It could be a hoot in the bar after people have had a few drinks?
Sorry for all the questions

Sorry for all the questions
1) Friday is fine
2) You can bring whatever you wish to share; just let people know they are homemade. (Many will prefer them)
3) Firepits are allowed on the field if off the ground. We will be in the car park, but you can opt for the field if you want to.
4) Anything that makes this an even better rally is welcome.

I hope this helps.

Edge of field weather permitting? Best of both worlds 🙂
