Hope you washed your hands afterwards.I thought the muck spreader was a nice touch.![]()
While I was working in Winchester it was the day that Freddie was released. There is a thread on Facts along the same lines, I'm in favour of it being much tougher on inmates, not cruel etc but if it's like a holiday came where is the reason to go straight.
Compulsory lessons in education and trades would help them have more choices on release.
Something went wrong with my two, law abiding and successful kids then!Stupid people rear stupid kids, not the best start in life, parents too young, no lie experience, it doesn't always follow of course that they will end up wrong uns but educated kids from good families have a better chance.
'Educated kids from good families have a better chance' because there is an assumption that they are better, irrespective of their actual abilities. And, once through the door, the richer kids have the education, guile and connections to conceal their lack of ability. This is borne out by recent research from the Oxbridge Uni admission interviews, and backed up by Peter Capaldi's experience in battling through the Arts World and then the Acting Fraternity (Guardian some 2-3 weeks ago) where his comments about the Acting Families, where the latest generation get by on the family name, rather than on ability were quite acerbic. Ironically, he auditioned for the Malcolm Tucker role whilst still raging about the latest Beeb rejection, so the sweaty rant came through on Weegie Autopilot rant as he replayed the Beeb rejection in his mind ...Stupid people rear stupid kids, not the best start in life, parents too young, no lie experience, it doesn't always follow of course that they will end up wrong uns but educated kids from good families have a better chance.
You will definitely need to be avoiding Germany and Belgium if you think it’s bad in France at the momentAnother reason why I would always avoid France whenever possible. Bunch of *******
Conform, hmmm. Are we not supposed to be free men and women living in a free country? Too many folks conforming without questions what to is more a problem than those who don’t I think. There will always be some who can't/won't conform but some will so the opportunity needs to be there.
Bear in mind that heads of big businesses and people in charge of running almost every sector of government are mainly these educated kids from good families. I don’t see what it should matter what or where the family is or is from, if the child shows ability they should be educated. During my working life I constantly clashed with so called better educated folks from better backgrounds. The fact you can recall something you read certainly does not mean they could implement or even understand it. Some of the stupidest people I have met had at least a first class degree'Educated kids from good families have a better chance' because there is an assumption that they are better, irrespective of their actual abilities.
