which door? habitation or cab?Small stonechip in windscreen repaired. Drove M/Home to the garage to take VW Tiguan for service/timing belt/water pump and new tyres. VB Semi-Air suspension had dropped from 1.2 bar to1.0 bar in almost 4 weeks so quick top up applied. Strange thing when the Stone Chip was repaired - Fitter pointed out that the door hinge bracket was loose - 1st time that has happened in over 4 years of use. He tightened the hinge whilst waiting for the screen repair glue to cure, but maybe something to keep an eye on ...

Cab door, David. My innitial thought was that the hinge had not been retightened after the compressor for the semi-air suspension had been installed, but the garage said they had only accessed the door trim. The passenger door hinge is still tight, so there is either a poltergeist at play, or the hinge was slacked off and not retightened, or there's a problem that might need some loctite screwthread or similar. 'Keep under observation' on Brunhilde's medical notes ...which door? habitation or cab?
Ah - the spotty bag shop.Removed the original broken coat hanger and an ugly additional one and fitted a wooden replacement that almost matches the toilet door.
Got it in the Spotty bag shop last weekend when we were in the Cullen aire.
Would recommend the Cullen aire as well as Linda's chip shop.View attachment 77060

I think you may be on the right track thinking about linked to the Air Suspension install. If the vehicle is not jacked up correctly that can twist things around. I found something similar happen with my Toyota RAV4 where the jacking points were different when sidesteps were fitted and when I jacked the front to change the wheels the door no longer fitted. Fortunately self-corrected.Cab door, David. Went there after the chipper, home made vanillaDon't miss the ice cream shop just below the town square.
No, it was OK before the Air Suspension. We have had the M/Home for nearly 5 years and I have checked hinges etc when I was looking for ways to tighten the O/S Door Mirror [there are none - a new Mirror was fitted].It might never of been tightened properly from the factory - Friday afternoon job.
My coach built lacks decent insulation, its white and it is still bloody cold.Although panel vans do lack insulation, the biggest mistake is not finishing them in white or light silver colour.
Makes a huge difference to how much heat you gain and lose.
Paint it dull black and see how much worse it gets.My coach built lacks decent insulation, its white and it is still bloody cold.
Is it leaking through the roof light, or round the flashings?Sods law, never had problem with water ingress, in 2 years of owning our van,
2 days before we part exchange it roof light starts leaking and it's pissing down.
Just around the seal to van, It stoped raining and managed to dry and remove area of silicone, over seal with some sikoflex , hopefully that will get us through handover..Is it leaking through the roof light, or round the flashings?
The problem is that the product autotrail have used to bed roof light to van,At least that's a simple fix that doesn't have a huge cost.
I'm not a fan of silicone sealant. That's probably why it was leaking.
Ideally, you'd remove the skylight and reseal with proper non-setting sealant.
