Thanks, Lee, but all credit to the heavenly bodies. It was one of those special moments I was lucky enough to experience and capture. I just sat there and watched the sun grow in brightness and the Moon and Venus fade as it did so.
A magical moment.

Well what do I say it was raining when I got up 6.00 am, it continued to rain & went very heavy or some hours, now its raining like earlier

It's a chilly start to the day here in Andalucia with a temperature of only 14°C at 09:13 local time, though with the wind chill it felt like 13.6°C.
Not only that but there's a cloud on the horizon...........



.........which may not clear until 10:20.
(The cloud was photo-shopped into place to soften the blow).

What a coincidence... .. Your Spanish Moon and Spanish Venus... We have them here... in Portugese

I saw the same picture through our bathroom skylight at 6.30 ..
Mind you it was 8 degrees outside.
Grabbing a camera and going outside, was the last thing on my mind.

Sunny 16 degrees , as we broke our fast on the Upper terrace at 9am.

24, in the shade at lunchtime .. 32 in the Sunshine ...
Far too hot for any more gardening ... and I've run out of Gin
