Thanks Del, just what I needed to read while I'm eating my porridge
Hope you're soon over it

What’s that old saying, constipation is a thief of time but diarrhoea waits for no man, hope you’ve got plenty of Imodium.Bad night in Demi. My old travelling companions turned up last night. Sickness and diarrhoea. Can’t say I’d missed them . They’ve been away for three or four years. TBH, if they’d never come back ever, I’d been happy. Still their here now, and will be for a few days. I knew I’d stocked up on loo rolls for a reason.
Life in a smelly van seems to be what it’s going to be for now.
Should I rename this thread Adventureb4 diarrhoea?
Don't know yet Ken , we will probably look for one on the way to Calais , but I will keep you posted on the situationlet us know the situation with the vet are you going mailleyre sur seine ?
Yes very scary. Especially a green scarf. Have you all decided what you are doing? If you are going off on Monday could I link up somewhere en route? I have printouts of the form for France. We've luckily not got into your situation yet Meg.
I'm not sure the locals would be to enamoured by the sight of me with a scarf over my face.
Thanks for the offer but we aren't going yet, we are planning on staying about another week, maybe longer as we have been looking at the Eurostar and there are no places until 21st May. we can only assume the C&CC have block booked until then .Yes very scary. Especially a green scarf. Have you all decided what you are doing? If you are going off on Monday could I link up somewhere en route? I have printouts of the form for France.

You do what you have to do to stay safe never mind what other might say Del, Me Bored to death sitting at home at the age I am not to go out waiting for some one to do the shopping for usAnother beautiful day in Portugal. Washing done. Clean clothes and bedding..
Do I stay or go ? Rhetorical question really, cos I’ve pretty much made my mind up. I’ll stay here until moved on by GNR. That could be as early as Friday, or weeks yet. Who knows. Nikki says I have to be home by the 29th September. So plenty of time yet .
Like a lot of us. I’ve health issues that could become worse at home. It’s unlikely I’d get pneumonia here. I’ve had that twice in the recent past.
While writing this, I’ve had a call from the travel insurance people, refusing to extend my cover. Time to test how good the E111, system is, if and when necessary.
I expect replies from this , telling me how irresponsible I’m being. Please don’t bother. We are all adults. Time for us all to make adult decisions that we think are best for ourselves. Stay here in the warm sunshine in relative safety, or go home, probably becoming another strain on the NHS.
Feel for you mate. You do what you have to do to stay safe never mind what other might say Del, Me Bored to death sitting at home at the age I am not to go out waiting for some one to do the shopping for us
A picture would be nice.Damp and chilly day today, around 22c. So still shorts and tee shirts. Overcast this morning and intermittent rain this afternoon. It’s been that exciting today.
Sorry to not be any more informative. One of those days
