I have decided to reorganise my kitchen in the Motorhome. Not got some of the nice spices and seasonings I like to use when cooking, so investing in little containers to decant from the big spice jars so got more options in a smaller space (hopefully!).
When I was removing kitchen stuff yesterday, I did check my "safe" just in case. Empty sadlyYes I found £300 in mine that I had forgotten about and it’s not the first time I have hidden money and forgot about it and it’s such a winning feeling when you find what you didn’t know or remember you had.
I did put money away in it when I did a bit of a roadtrip back in Sept '21 as a 'just in case' and only remembered about two months later! Nice little surprise just before Christmas

What I DID find is a stack of paper plates! I knew I had some somewhere! Used to keep them in the Microwave but moved to clearly a 'better' place
Nope, have loads of booze in the garage and I don’t drink now and very rare for Caz to either. I got a shock when I saw how much a bottle of malt I had now was listed at. easy to get pished if you don't drink often so it's money saving too, we just got out of the habit, but sadly when I get up in the morning it's the best I'll feel all day

I’ve been on the search for Thatchers Blood orange cider found 4 cans in Asda but none in any other supermarket.seeing as this is now a drinking thread.... where can I get Banana Bread Beer? ASDA used to sell it but stopped ages ago. It you look when doing an on-line shop you see it listed but invariably out of stock.

I find B&M Bargains a great place for all the various "weird sh*t ciders". That is where I have got the Brothers Rhubarb & Custard cider from, amongst other odd ones. Worth a look there

I shouldn’t put this on an open forum but what 8 do if we are out for the day is spread money around the van different cupboards and such figure that if the van is broken into and the scooter grabs £50 out of one hidey hole he may scarper thinking he has come up trumps , don’t put all your eggs in one basket but try to remember where the other baskets are.Shame it still won't buy what it would when you hid it away.
Must be a rich gurl though, I never have enough to hide anyway, or Liz has borrowed it as she doesn't carry her purse anywhere she can use it and she just transfers it so I have to go to the ATM to get the cash I never use
