Flat starter battery on the van

I installed a Battery Monitor BM2 which was bluetooth enabled to my Santa Fe, it's now on my MH. It keeps a record of battery voltages and is good for solving any problems. It also can gives alerts for when the battery is getting low. I've had 2 of these and would get another if I got another car. - no connection to the company.
I'm awaiting the delivery of the BM6

Update:-

The ECU repair place got back to me yesterday.

"I have been working on your ECU and unfortunately it is beyond repair due to an internal short circuit within the PCB which I cannot get to. I’ve checked my programming tools and I can offer a code swap to a replacement ECU which would cost £330 in total (£210 for the replacement ECU, £100 for the code swap, £20 collection & return postage fees). If this sounds ok I can get the ECU ordered in?"
I have been searching for a used one anyway and the cheapest I could find was this one so I'm happy to proceed with their option to replace and recode.

Looks a good price compared to the typical prices banded around.

This is one of the firms I rang

The 'Body Control Module' Fault code showed up on mine when the ECU failed, and that was deemed beyond repair

Steve
When mine was "repaired" last time (Same van) it didn't work, the body control module was duff, with a capital F.

All done with a new MOT and serviced up.

We're £780.44 poorer, France is only just on the cards but we're looking for the cheapest crossing if anyone has any ideas, I think Liz found £130 each way so needs to beat that week commencing 14th April.

Have you tried Newhaven Dieppe normally the cheapest, ring for quote and tell them you are over 60 and you will get 20% discount on price must ring can't get discount on line.
p.s. glad you're sorted.

Thanks John, it comes out @ £110, but adds a lot of time and fuel as we're going to Belgium first. Calais-Dunkirk was our plan.

When you leave Dunkirk for Belgium you will start of on the A16 and as it enters Belgium it becomes the A18 if you come off at junction 1A for Veurne at the bottom of the slip road turn right, then about a half mile on your right hand side you will come across a 24/7 fuel station which is about the cheapest in Belgium and much cheaper than France.
Then a bit further along on the right there is a cheap place for tobacco and alcohol,it also has a large parking area if you need somewhere safe to stay for the night, the shop is also open 24/7 this is about 16 miles from Dunkirk

Do you have co ords for that garage for the sat nav as I couldn't find it.
