France 2023 tour.

With all that water movement it must be a fantastically noisy place to visit. I had no idea of it's existence, and must visit next time I'm passing by.

Thank you for the inspirational photos. 👍
Yes it is noisy, crossed my mind and saying to myself “I’d be up all night at the toilet if I lived in homes directly next to the water”. I was looking for signs of DIY hydro setups, an ideal location for mini hydro systems.

hi guys & gals . super photos again you know isn't touring with your camper /motorhome just the best ever .cheyenne

Thought it better to start a thread, keep it all tidy. Currently at Arromanches on a municipal site, closed till April but OK to use, facilities all closed.
Yesterday cycled over to Juno beach, this was the Canadian D-Day beach landing.

On our return trip took small detour to Vers - Sur- Mer to view the British memorial garden which opened June 2021. What an amazing and humbling memorial. Here are some pics I took using iPhone, better ones taken by my bridge camera.

Excellent! My wife & I did the whole tour of all the Beach Landindgs
Excellent! My wife & I did all the Landing Beaches and associated sites tour in 2021. That was the most sobering experience. We could feel the energy, just like as if it had all happened just a few years ago. Enjoy 😊👍

Leaving here today, south to Lac Pareloup. Here are some randoms from yesterday tour 👍
Thanks for all the Pic's Sky's looking a better colour in these let's hope it stays that way now. When we where last at the aire at Lac Pareloup we where treated to a arial display of planes loading with water to take to the fires burning in the area

Now at Villefrance de Panat, small lake which forms part of an EDF hydro station. Note the water levels. Troubles ahead with hosepipe bans etc. hopefully no forest fires like last year.
