France 2023 tour.

Todays lunch before tackling top section of Bozouls 😋😋😋 And if you suffer from Acrophobia, this town is not for you. 😳

Certainly is Wully, we’ll drop down into the town bowels tomorrow, weather crap today, North Face gear required 🥶

Question Wully, attached image shows what appears to be a typical slate roof here. Why the radius slate at bottom, I guess slate will be purchased already dressed, must be a hell of a waste per slate, adding cost to a roof covering, I also note slates are fixed with some type of clip, Italian slate?IMG_3824.jpeg

We like to have a theme on our travels, although as I love boats and water it usually entails following canals. However last year the theme was Les Plus Beau Villages and we did loads of them but nowhere near all in the book so this years theme is already decided! Without any exceptions we loved every one of the villages we did last year.
A circuit of the Plus Beaux Villages is our agenda for spring 2024, I’d love to hear how you get on.

How long was your trip to Spain/Europe this time? If you didn't use your full 90 days then you can use the balance to start a new trip, and then add the 'expired' first days from the Spain Trip to add to your trip to France. It's because the limit is 90/180 days on a rolling basis, so as Day 1 falls away, you can add it to the end of the 2nd trip.

Use the Schengen EU Calculator and enter your Spanish Trip Dates EU Stay Calculator Official Version and then enter your planned [2nd trip] dates, pressing the 'Calculate' button at each stage, It will tell you whether your plans will generate an overstay, and, if you're too cautious, will also provide the last date before an overstay occurs

Today the weather has been poor, worse now with winds and heavy rain. It is what it is.
Today got tge wet weather gear on and took myself down into the canyon, although drizzle rain, I more or less had the whole canyon to myself. I have to say, I have visited some wonderful parts of our world, Bozouls Canyon now ranks very high on my places visited list. Although a wet day, this did not dampen my visit experience. Here are some images from today, I took so many I drained phone battery.

With all that water movement it must be a fantastically noisy place to visit. I had no idea of it's existence, and must visit next time I'm passing by.

Thank you for the inspirational photos. 👍
