I'm thinking about buying and converting a 2nd hand refrigerated motor to save me having 3 way fridge.

I agree, I wouldn't bother, but I know of 3 campervans that have been built with diesel hobs 'cos the owners/builders didn't want to use gas. The Eberspacher that was in Helen's Romahome was supposed to be a water as well as space heater but she couldn't get it to work so had it taken out.

It's a waeco 110ltr Neil .What ever the temp is in the van it's pretty much the same in the fridge and freezer.

Surely you want the temp in the fridge/freezer to be lower than the van, otherwise you may as well just stick your food in a cupboard?

I think you were joking about using gas locker for a genny Del but in case you weren't. You may find any sound inside the locker amplifies, I know I had this when I mounted a diesel heater fuel pump in mine.

Yes, I used to have a Sterling B2B charger there, and its fans were louder than the engine. Replaced the B2B with a fanless one in the end!
