I have a hospital appointment for minor surgery on the Thursday.
Not allowed to drive immediately following the surgery so Helen to the rescue.
Both arriving Friday to Monday.

I was speaking to a nice fella from Glasgow at the campsite I was at yesterday. not sure whereabouts in Glasgow he stays but he makes your motorhome look a right wee one! Got one of those American RVs with twin slide outs and a trailer pulling a big Triumph bike :)

Proper good looking rig it was.

Sorry for short notice but we are regrettably going to have to pull out of this weekends festivities. Long story short our son needs looking after, after what we will henceforth refer to as an 'incident', and Dad, ie Me, has to play nurse. I know everyone will enjoy themselves despite the weather and will catch up with many at Whittingham & Goosnargh

Hi Lee
Sorry to do this but, can I cancel our visit this weekend and spuds. The main reason is obviously the weather warnings, we don't fancy driving in the rain, sitting in the rain then driving back in the rain. We also have to much at home to sort out before winter etc. Looking forward to catch up later. Hope the meet is better than forecast suggests.

Hi Lee. I am truly sorry but I've got a bit of a drama going on at home and won't be coming to the meet. Basically my very own personal flood in my lovely new kitchen 😭 Washing machine had apparently sprung a leak and before I noticed, it's flooded all under my new floor tiles. I'm using an oscillating fan heater and a dehumidifier to dry things out. I was thinking of trying to organising a back-up team to switch things on and off every day if I went away but it's a worry - especially with the heater, which I need to move around regularly to try to get under all the cupboards and avoid 'hot spots'. The weather really is the final nail in the coffin but I wasn't happy about going away as it was. I'm so sorry to let you down. Just hoping my drama doesn't turn into a crisis... ie the cost of a new floor - again!
